Henderson Makelaardij handles your personal data with care. In this statement you can read what data we process, why we do so and what choices and rights you have.

1. Who is responsible?

Henderson Makelaardij is responsible for the processing of personal data via this website and our services.

2. What data do we process?

When you contact us or complete a form, we may process your name, email address, telephone number, housing preferences, home details and the content of your message. In addition, technical data may be processed, such as your device and browser data, IP address, pages visited and your cookie preference.

3. Why do we process this data?

• to answer your question or request;
• to schedule appointments and perform our brokerage services;
• to manage quotes, agreements and customer files;
• to comply with legal and administrative obligations;
• to analyze and improve the use of the website, only with your permission.

We base this processing on your consent, the preparation or execution of an agreement, a legal obligation or our legitimate interest in providing our services safely and properly.

4. Contact form and service providers

The contact form is technically processed via Netlify Forms. We can engage carefully selected service providers for hosting, e-mail, administration and website analysis. They only process data for their assignment and in accordance with appropriate agreements.

5. Google Tag Manager and cookies

This website uses Google Tag Manager with container GTM-KL2PH8JS. Tag Manager manages measurement codes, but does not independently determine which data is collected. Google Consent Mode is set to denied by default for analytics and ads. Only when you choose “Allow Analytics” may analytical storage be enabled. Ad storage, ad personalization, and ad data sharing remain denied.

Your choice will be saved locally in your browser for up to 180 days. You can always change these via the “Cookie preferences” button. With analytical consent, Google or services linked via Tag Manager may process technical usage data. We do not place marketing cookies without separate, appropriate consent.

6. Retention periods

In principle, we keep contact requests for a maximum of 24 months after the last substantive contact. We retain data that becomes part of an assignment or administration file for as long as this is necessary for the provision of services and applicable legal retention obligations. Analytical data is retained according to the settings of the associated analytics tool and is set as limited as possible before final activation.

7. Sharing and Transfer

We do not sell your data. We only share personal data when necessary for our services, at your request, with a legal basis or when the law requires this. Some technical service providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. In that case, we use appropriate safeguards, such as standard provisions approved by the European Commission.

8. Your Privacy Rights

You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or transfer of your personal data. You can also object to processing or withdraw previously given consent. Send your request to info@hendersonmakelaardij.nl. In principle, we respond within one month. You can also file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

9. Security and Changes

We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data. This privacy statement can be adjusted if our website, services or legal obligations change. The most current version is always on this page.
